For additional information on map conditions please see the statewide
road conditions report.
The winter reporting season is November through April and
conditions during those months are updated twice a day or as major
changes occur. However, weather and highway conditions in Montana
change quickly, and the reports are not real time.
Road reports are based on the last known and reported condition.
Travelers should be aware that conditions can change rapidly and
should plan for winter conditions. Please see our Winter
Driving Safety page for helpful information.
